01With or without a guide?

During our trip to Sicily, we chose a trek to 2,100m with a guide, through Etna Emotion — the tour also included a wine tasting at an estate near the volcano. We wanted information and stories about this volcano, so close and so active, on top of enjoying the scenery.

02What's included

Transfer
Round trip from your hotel to the foot of the volcano.
Guided climb
Information on the volcano over the centuries and the vegetation around it.
Domaine Gambini Vino
Near Lingua Glossa
Tasting of 6 different wines, including Etna wines, paired with typical Sicilian food.

03Practical tips

A fairly gentle hike, much less demanding than Mount Batur in Bali. Good shoes remain essential.

In summer
Long pants or a light jacket recommended to avoid mosquito bites.
In winter
Warm clothing required — the higher you climb, the colder it gets, not to mention the wind.
✎ remember to stay hydrated and bring a snack to keep you going until the end

Enjoy the view, the shades of color, and the scenery...
